On-Call Admin Receptionist 2017

Job Description: 

Snuneymuxw First Nation is looking for an On-call receptionist to provide front desk coverage and administrative support to Snuneymuxw First Nation staff



· Grade 12 or equivalent

· Previous Office Experience


Essential Duties/Responsibilities

· Receive, direct and relay telephone calls

· Welcome onsite visitors, and announces visitors to appropriate staff member

· Ensures all incoming visitors, clients, guests are signed in our Visitor Log book

· Direct members/clients to the appropriate staff member

· Respond to public inquiries

· Logs Outgoing Mail

· Provide word-processing and secretarial support

· Customer service, punctual, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity and reliable, able to work efficiently with other staff

· Ability to effectively communicate both written/verbal communication skills to function with all staff levels

· Knowledgeable of MS Office software programs,  office procedures, fax machines, and photocopiers

· Able to handle fast paced environment

· Perform other duties as requested
