Youth Worker (8 Positions) - SFN Summer Student Employment

Job Description: 

4 Post Secondary and 4 High School Positions

July 4th to August 24th, 2012.  The eight youth workers will work for 7 weeks (35 hrs. per week) during the summer as part of a team.  The team will be involved in:

  • Children’s Cultural Programs
  • Literacy and Science Activities
  • Coast Salish Summer Games
  • Exploring Vancouver Island

We are looking for 4 Post Secondary and 4 High School students who are:

  • Interested in pursuing a career in daycare, Child and Youth Care or Social Services
  • Creative with the ability to assist in programming
  • Able to role model a healthy lifestyle
  • Responsible and mature
  • Available for the full seven weeks
