First Ever Certified Graduates From The First Nations Speech and Language Assistant Program at Nicola Valley Institute of Technology.  Penny Monsell and Mona Dorman were among only 19 graduates in the province to receive diplomas in this CASLPA certified program.

The two started out on this journey in 2005, and have been working at the courses as they became available. With these two graduates working at Qwam Qwum Stuwixwulh under the direction of a Speech Pathologist, we are able to ensure that Speech and Language Services are provided regularly, often,  and are a high priority at the school!
