The SFN Marine division has been working with the Pacific Salmon Foundation to learn more about how seals and sea lions interact with salmon in rivers and estuaries. This includes using visual counts, wildlife cameras, sonar, and drones. This data will fill in knowledge gaps about how many about seal and sea lions move through river habitats, and how they interact with salmon.
